Maile Harding is a Kamehameha graduate, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at UH Hilo. She is a certified Gerontology Health Administrator through the University of Phoenix and social worker, specializing in working with the senior population.
She is also an expert psychometrist, who has assisted in the training of doctoral graduate students in the administering of neuropsychological assessment protocols for well over a decade.
Maile has worked at the Maui County Office of Aging, helping many seniors and there families navigate through the complex Medicare system, as well as local resources for senior care and now serves as the Office manager at Maui Memory Clinic coordinating patient care.
Most importantly, she has cared for both her grandmother who had mixed dementia, as well as her father who had vascular type dementia, so this is a topic and population that is close to her heart.
