Diagnostic Cognitive Assessment (ie. Neuropsychological Evaluation):

Please contact us to schedule an appointment.

Diagnostic Cognitive Assessment: A Neuropsychological Evaluation is a cognitive assessment of an individual’s brain function.

It determines the strengths and weaknesses of various domains including memory, attention, language, problem solving, reasoning, visuospatial function, processing speed, etc.

A complete evaluation involves a clinical interview, in which information regarding one’s mood, behavior, medical/family history and symptomology is collected.

Next, the administration of pencil and paper type tests and scores will be collected, interpreted, and a report will be generated.

There are many types of tests that make up a neuropsychological test battery, and test selection depends on the type of problem an individual may be having.

The following links on the main “Services” page describes common assessments provided at Maui Memory Clinic.
